I took the liberty of adding a clip about the technology. Of course the guys are hyping it as the newest technology while in fact it is quite old (they do mention that is being used in research labs). There are other facial tracking technologies, some very inexpensive. In the end it all comes down to directing and editing, except in this case the editing has more to do with cleaning capture data.

One very bad logic thing that is apparent in this game is the fact that both police and detectives handle "evidence" without gloves. Fingerprinting was already widely used in the 40's! So I think Tribeca will give it a thumbs down , not only for bad acting:-)
