Library in SL

One of our groups is considering building a new kind of library in SL. Has anyone checked out the Malcolm Brown Library at the NMC campus in SL? How will yours be different and similar?
Any other library experiences?

Group 2 has the library explorers. The library concept is only part of what we want to do - there is a technical component also. Right now we are figuring out if it is possible to do what we have in mind. We are meeting on Sunday and will post more then.

Dennis, I did see the NMC campus library - it is worth a trip. My favorites so far have been the Caledon libraries. Not very big, but very visually appealing.

For those who are interested in Library Things, there is a "Library Festival" of some kind going all day Saturday at the main Second Life Library on Info Island. There are different speakers and a treasure hunt and other merriment. The fireworks this morning were good fun. :)

Isn't the UF library in SL? I could have sworn I walked into library west one day and there were signs saying that they were...what's that about?

Yes, the UF Library is online and you can visit that.
