I see Donna is up early on Sunday! (well 10:30 IS early for me on Sundays:-)
I like the project much better now. One idea that comes to mind is to put a collaborative screen (sort of like a "white board") in the amphitheatre so that participants can actively collaborate in that way. There are some great examples on SL where, for example, people can draw interactively using tools similar to a simple paint program. Unfortunately I do not have the link (it is an "educational" place) but we can find this or other examples or possibly script our own. This interactivity was enabled by the "seat" in that space I am referring to, similar to what you want to do. I am sure you can come up with different ways to enable this type of practical interaction that can ONLY happen in VR.
