Linden CEO?

I came across an article stating that Linden Labs is searching for a new CEO, as their current founder and CEO Philip Rosedale is stepping down. What I found interesting is that Mr. Rosedale is leading the search for a new chief executive, and will be assuming the position of chairman of Linden's board once a replacement is found. He has also stated that he will continue to be involved with the company and would like the new CEO to have complementary skills to his so that they may work well together.

From what I gathered, Mr. Rosedale is looking for someone from outside the company to bring in a new perspective. He said the most important criteria is to find someone who has had experience growing a small company into a global player. Linden is facing increasing competition and has struggled achieving the growth and retention than was hoped. Rosedale also said the new CEO should be passionate user of Second Life and "a great coach" who will work well with Linden's staff (Arturo, perhaps?).

OK, honestly, does there exist a "passionate user of second life?" OK, obviously that was sarcastic, but seriously, there will always be people who are obsessed with Second life, and probably more who adamantly hate it. I think a suitable replacement for him needs to know the ins and outs of game design, because although second life is not a game, a game designer will know the ins and outs of design from both a technical perspective, and from the perspective of creating "fun factor," which includes everything from ease of use/user friendly, etc.
