Sarcastic as the website is I think it is making a very valid point.

I think you are on to something, but not sure what it is other than just making fun of SL...
It may not be the greatest thing, but it definitely has its positives (economic, social, education).
I do concur that having a different account/area for children younger than 18 is a good thing with some of the things that happen in SL (in almost every area I have been to, except the swamp and gator nation, I have seen a lot of sex animations and items). This way children get to experience second life, and meet new people from all over the world and explore while not having to see certain questionable things which could have their parents suing Linden Labs.
Though I believe they could at least used a better comment for their first page.
