Cortaca Broadcast

It is Cortaca weekend, which means a great game, great friends, and great times. For ICTV this means the most watched, and most important show of the year. Gridiron Report, Bombers Live, and all other sports shows are going to be covering the game in the studio and on the field. There are going to be hundreds of views online and hundreds of yards of XLRs will be laid out. Tensions are going to be high. The game will be broadcasted on channel 16, ictv.org, and on Time Warner channel 325 all over New York! This is going to be the last Cortaca I will be attending in person, however next fall when I am in LA, I will be attending in spirit. For a division three game, this event draws a lot of people out for a weekend of celebration, and school spirit. To everyone planning to go to the game tomorrow afternoon, have a good safe time! To everyone not able to attend the game, be sure to tune in to channel 16, or Time Warner 325!

Sportsball & Comic Con

In honor of this weekend’s Cortaca game, Game Over will be continuing with our tradition of “Sportsball Coverage.” The episode involves a running joke that we as geeks don’t know anything about sports, which gives us plenty of material to work with when doing writing assignments. My personal favorite is the “Top 5 Madden Games” segment, which has become a tradition for our Sportsball special.

We’re also finishing up editing our footage from New York Comic Con. I’ve been editing the round table interview for China, IL with Brad Neely and Daniel Weidenfeld and the interview with Avery Monsen and Jory John, the pair behind the children’s book All My Friends Are Dead. Both interviews were hilarious, and I can’t wait to watch the finalized Game Over Comic Con special!
