Abduction

Over the break I had watched the movie Abduction with Taylor Lautner and I was personally impressed. I've never been the biggest fan of him or his movies, but I was actually impressed on how this movie turned out.

The way that the movie had incorporated his story and his parents I thought was truly interesting. When he found out that he was adopted, I thought that that was such a good turn of events to bring about how his parents were not actually his parents.

When I watched this movie I had watched it with my mom. Now granted, she was probably asleep for some of it, she even said that she liked it and ought that it was a great movie. I didn't exactly think that it was a great movie but I liked how they incorporated everything into it.

In a weird way this movie sort of reminded me of a Taken type of movie. I only think this cause of the fighting scenes in the movie, even though it was a totally different base line.

But anyway, if you think that fighting and killing are awesome and just happen to like Taylor Lautner as a plus, this movie is for you.

Paranormal Activity 4

The other day I decided to make the daring decision to watch Paranormal 4 by myself. I had to watch it during the day though so I didn't scare myself at night to a point where I wouldn't be able to sleep at all for the next week or so. I also watched the other 3 paranormal movies last year during the year because I was bored. All of my friends had seen them so I decided to do it myself just so I can say that I saw the movies. Watching all of these movies I realized how scared I can get at a single movie.

At this fourth one I was legitimately screaming and yelling because I got so scared at certain parts. The pop outs, the effects, I was freaking out at a majority of the movie. Even though I was scared beyond belief, I was still very impressed with how the movie came out and how it was put together. The amount of pop ups and how they brought about the big curve ball about Hunter I thought was incorporated so well. I will admit that I liked how they used people that were not related to the family of Hunter because it showed that they were branching out, however, seeing that Hunter was adopted by this family that shows how the family was related. I wish that they showed us how Hunter ended up becoming a part of this family. I obviously know he was adopted, but when? Why? That's what I want to know.

Overall, this movie was really good, really scary, and very impressive. If you like scary movies, then this is the movie for you, but just be aware, if you watch this at night, good luck sleeping.

Leverage

Leverage. The show about a group of con artists. Their jobs are to help people who have been abused by companies. So if a company took a million dollars from them, they would do their job to bring it back. In only seeing a few episodes, I can really say that this is a good television show. I won't lie about it, I was never really into it when it first started, but now that I am actually sitting down and watching a full episode, it's not half bad.

One of the episodes that I watched recently, there was a man who was killed in a plane crash and the company of the plane tried to cover the whole thing up as if it wasn't their fault when it was because it was a plane malfunction. The company refused to pay the family and they lost the lawsuit that was filed against the company. It turns out that the man had a video of the owner of the plane company discussing something with someone from another company negotiating an illegal deal to smuggle certain goods into another country. The thing about this is that it was important because the plane that they would be using was going to crash filled with passengers. They group went into action in order to bring this mother and daughter the money that she deserved. As you can see, the team in this show is mainly around to help the common man get what they deserve from the abusing companies.

Resident Evil: Retribution

So tonight I saw Resident Evil: Retribution. Now I may be biased, but I love these movies. This movie was fairly short however still good as always.

I was very impressed how they did things and how they set things up. Using clones and using the virus and set ups to see how it spread was very well put together and very well shown throughout the movie.

My favorite part was how the showed all of the people from previously is just to truly show that Umbrella is using clones to keep the corporation afloat and alive.

The ending ended up being not what I thought. However I do like that they will be coming up with a new movie in the future. I can definitely tell you ill be seeing that next movie.

The Notebook

I'm one of those people who like to watch super action movies that have blood and gore and guns and shooting and all that awesome stuff. However, I decided to please my girlfriend with a movie that I didn't exactly have on my "Must Watch" list: The Notebook. Now I know that you're probably laughing because The Notebook is nothing like the movies I usually watch, but I won't lie to you; it wasn't that bad of a movie. I was very impressed on how the movie ended up being played out and how they utilized all of the emotion that was put into it as well as the time period that they chose to make the movie take place in.

Granted, I did watch this romantic movie with my girlfriend, which gave it a little more of a plus because I had someone to relate it to and hold in my arms while I watched it, but I honestly think that it was a pretty good movie. I especially liked the ending. How they put it all together in the end with the two elderly people in the home which ended up being the two of them many years later. He used the notebook in order to be able to read to her when she got ill so she would try and remember because he felt as if his love was still inside and was just wasn't able to come out at all times. She didn't remember much, but after the notebook was read to her, she remembered who he was, who their kids were, and how much she loved him.

And I can't believe I'm about to admit this, but I cried at the end when they both died holding each others hands. That must have been one of the best ways to end a romance movie because it shows true love between two people that loved and then lost and then found their way back to each others arms just to be able to be with each other again and die together to be with each other for eternity.
