This seems like a futile effort on the part of EA. Second Life is having enough trouble becoming enormous, and one of its more appealing characteristics is freedom of expression (whether that be through pseudo violence/sex or radical ideas and structures)
ReplyDeleteI think The Sims Online was one of EA's greatest missed opportunities, and they don't miss many. They were way out ahead of this idea, but they didn't see how they could leverage the Sims idea to encourage participation and purchase of their other games.
