Wow that was really well done. I have to say if this is true -- compiling personal info from my email combined with things I search for... they must thing I'm one strange kid.
In the same line, and not mentioned in the movie is the Google Health initiative that is already being tested by major American clinics.
Google's system allows outside doctors to send information to clinics through Google, to merge with existing files.
And more significantly, the special health section of Google, existing alongside a user's Gmail account, blog postings and purchase history using Google Checkout supposedly becomes a consumer-controlled dossier.
As personal health records contain our most intimate details, that information could affect getting a job, obtaining insurance not to mention one's social life.
The problem of course is the storage and transmission of all this information that can be subpoenaed or requested not only by government agencies which already work in collaboration with the likes of Google, Microsoft, At&T etc.,but also by insurance companies that might deny you protection if you do not release that information.
